Thoughts about God

Understanding The Unchanging Nature of God

The steadfastness of His love, His immovable character, faithful to His conditional promises.

You must choose to do what God has clearly told you to do. He’s laid it out in His Word. He said, “I will do this, the promise, if you will obey the premise.”
– Rick Warren

Christ is the anchor that holds our souls in the raging storms of life.

Those fierce storms that threaten to pull us under, to weigh us down, to drown us in the ocean of life, to bring us to a state of oblivion.

Christ is the anchor that keeps us afloat.

Oh! He keeps us above board, our heads above the water, keeping us steady, holding us firmly, His hands never letting go, His love unflinching, unrelenting.

The one thing we can trust in an ever changing world, is an Unchanging God.

It is said that change is the one thing that is constant; one phenomenon that is guaranteed.

The very change that threatens to tear to shreds and smithereens, the fabric of our existence, that holds our being.

It might be unpleasant, unexpected, but it shows the frailty of our universe, the fragile nature of the fabric holding our world. Capable of tearing to pieces and falling apart, crumbling down without a moment’s notice, with nothing left but broken dreams and empty promises…

“We can embrace change by knowing we serve an Unchanging God”.

– David Jeremiah

OH! The overwhelming love of God, like a parenteral nutrition for my starving soul, infuses the deepest parts of my being, giving life to parts I thought had died. Bringing me back from a place of abyss…

Christ is the thread to pull our pieces back together, the glue that fixes us, that seals our cracks, making us whole again. Basking in His overwhelming, never-ending and reckless love.

Love and Grace,

  1. Hello my dearest Dara! I have been fully coming to understand the ever loving and unchanging kindness of the Lord in these past several years. What I used to struggle with is how a loving God can still allow horrible trials to occur in the life of a Believer. But as I continue to overcome obstacles, I realize that the only way I could have understood what is good and evil in my life is only though the trials that God has allowed me to go through. I wish there was another way, but alas, we live in a broken world..
