Rebirth

What’s your rebirth story?

It is said, that there are two most important days in a person’s life: The day you’re born, and the day you find out why.

On Discovering purpose… Today I stepped out of my comfort zone and I found myself comfortable.

This post is a little out of the norm, but today, I felt advised by my own advice👇🏻

Life can be full of pleasant surprises if you open up yourself to the endless possibilities that lay right in front of you, if you’re courageous enough to step outside the box, the cage with which you’ve already defined yourself.

What makes life adventurous is daily uncovering new things. Finding out bits and pieces of ourselves we didn’t know even existed. Peeling off new layer after layer. Dying to past self, only so we can be reborn. Embracing the uncertainty that might come with newness and being brave enough to face it, knowing it’ll be okay.

    1. Thank you so much sweetie. Surprisingly, the courage to step outside of this zone into seemingly uncharted waters, led me to even more comfort. Yes I was swimming in unfamiliar waters, to water brought trepid, the waves threatened to drown me beneath, but soon I was riding those very same waves, and “swimming with the sharks” so to say.

    1. It’s a process of growth and change. It’s an inevitable part of life. To not choose to grow or change, to evolve, is to die. To cease to exist. So it is a conscious effort from realizing the status quo is no longer beneficial or profitable. When staying the same is no longer an option.

Science tells us about natural selection and a survival of the fittest theory of human adaptation and evolution. Those who refuse, become redundant. So really, it’s a choice to stay relevant.

      1. Actually and honestly, it’s not easy. It’s a struggle and a battle to break free.

But I have to constantly remind myself why I have to let go.
